Playwriting

I’m an actor/writer who takes inspiration from small and unexpected places. My ‘practice’ is keeping faith that there is gold in everyone’s stories if you listen deeply and embrace the silence between words. Ideas have come from overheard conversations, my children, articles in the paper and reading literature. Co-writing and making work in collaboration with others in the rehearsal room has also been a hallmark of some of my work. And always …..always working with a dramaturg who gets you!
