Hotel London, made by Ahmed Jamal in 1987. Restored and remastered by the BFI National Archive, the World Premiere of this new print is on the 16th October at the ICA at 18.10 pm.. Hotel London explores the housing crisis that plagued the city in the 1980s (still painfully relevant today), racial discrimination and the South Asian experience of trying to make a home in Britain.
